1) How would you describe this photograph to a person who could not see it?
I would describe this as having a triangular sign in the centre with a cloud on top. The sign and the cloud are directly on top of eachother, making it look like a vanilla ice cream cone. To the right, there are a lot of trees then a small road. The small road leads on to the horizon. To the left of the sign, there is a house facing towards the right, and to the left of the house there is a very triangular looking tree. Under the tree and slightly to the left, there is a small caravan with 2 wheels visible to the camera. The entirety of the photo is in black and white.
2) How is space represented in the photograph? (Describe the foreground, middle ground and background.)
The Foreground: There is a triangular sign, and the shadow is at the bottom and to the right.
The Middle-Ground: There is a house, and a tree to the left. Under the tree, there is a caravan. To the far right of the house there is a small forest-like area with a small white car underneath the beginning trees.
Background: There is a long road, with 2 cars going towards eachother on opposite sides of the road. The cloud on top of the sign is also there, in the very far background.
3) What is in or out of focus?
Honestly, everything looks as if it is in focus.
4) What part of the photo strikes as most interesting?
I think the caravan and whatever is across the road is most interesting. I would like to know more about why the caravan is there and not somewhere else, and what those things across the road are. I think this because it's one of those things that you'll never know.
5) What questions would you ask to the photographer, if he/she was here?
Why did you decide to take this photo here, at this point of view?
What do you like about this photo, and why?
6) What do you think living in this photograph would be like, and why do you think this?
I think living in this photo would get extremely boring. On the first day, I would go around trying to find out more information and more things about this photo. I think this because it only takes a matter of time before you find out everything about a photo.
7) Why do you suppose the artist made this photo? Why do you think this?
He could have made it to show the connection between the sign and the cloud and why they looked like that together. I think this because the POV between the cloud and the sign work really well.
